Convert-A-Ball Pintle Mounting Bar Review - 2006 Ford F-150

Today on our 2006 Ford F150, we'll be test fitting the convert-a-ball cushioned adjustable pintle mounting bar for two-inch hitches rated at 10,000 pounds, part number ampc2. Before we being our test fit, we will first to obtain the hitch height of our vehicle. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. The hitch height measurement for this vehicle is about 19 and 1/4 of an inch. Keep in mind this measurement may vary due to tire size, hitch style, or other after-market accessories. We'll now begin our test fit in the drop position by sliding the shank of the mounting bar into the opening of the hitch and securing it with the pin and clip. With it in the drop position, we can then measure from the ground to the center of the second set of holes from the bottom. This measurement is about 15 and 1/4 of an inch. From the third set of holes from the bottom, is about 17 and 1/4 of an inch. more
